WORLDWIDE GOLF
Worldwide Golf was launched in November 1999. With more than 100 issues to it’s credit the magazine has become the Middle East’s No.1.
Since the start, golf legend Gary Player has been the publication’s Executive Editor and the list of Major champions associated with the publication doesn’t stop there. Fellow former World No.1s, Greg Norman and Ernie Els also express their views on the game in their regular monthly columns.
As the official publication of the Emirates Golf Federation and the Arab Golf Federation, Worldwide Golf not only covers global golf news and features but informs our ever-growing readership about Middle East events, promotions and news.
Putting back into the golfing community has always been one of our policies and our own tournament, the Worldwide Golf Midweek Open Series, has been a huge success since it began life in 2008. The philosophy behind the Midweek Open is to offer reduced green fee rates to attract and involve non-golf club members to continue to play the game in a relaxed , friendly atmosphere in our monthly golf days at the various golf clubs in the UAE.
Worldwide Golf targets a readership of more than 167,000 with distribution through all the Middle East’s main golf clubs, our extensive database of subscribers, 5-star hotels and First Class and Business Class on all Emirates Airline flights as well as selected South African Airaways flights, supermarkets and VIP Lounges at Dubai and Abu Dhabi International Airports.
That figure is growing still further, aided by the Worldwide Golf website www.wwgolf.biz, which incorporates the latest in online games, forums, global and regional news, features, property and travel.
SPORT&FITNESS MIDDLE EAST
Sport & Fitness Middle East is published in association with the world’s largest gym network, Fitness First. The magazine contains an exciting blend of features, event previews, news, training tips and nutritional advice.
We had been planning to launch an all-encompassing sports magazine for years but were determined to wait until we had the ideal distribution network in place that would give the publication the readership and presence it deserved.
That opportunity came about when we joined forces with Fitness First, opening the door to their vast network of gyms throughout the Middle East with more than 145,000 users, including their 5,000 platinum members and an exclusive database of 45,000 personal email addresses.
The bi-monthly publication has quickly established itself as not only the biggest of it’s kind in the region – with a readership of around 250,000 – but also the best.
Our commitment to keeping everything in-house, along with our network of contacts, means we are able to secure exclusive interviews with the world’s biggest sports stars and produce features relevant to enthusiasts from the Middle East region, rather than relying on syndicated generic material from global publications.
We have a commitment to promoting the region’s major sporting events within Sport & Fitness Middle East and by targeting our growing readership of ‘general sports fans’ the magazine represents an ideal vehicle to attract new visitors to those events, either through in-depth previews or with full-blown supplements.
A fully interactive online version of the magazine is also sent to our 45,000-strong online database, which can be utilised for further event promotion.
In Sport & Fitness Middle East we feel we’ve succeeded in our vision of creating a magazine that ‘goes further than your average sports title’ to deliver a top-quality and highly engaging read.
